Mortgage or Banking Sales Consultant

The appropriate candidate will engage MTS Software Solutions prospective customers, prepare and present demonstrations of the IntellaLend platform and manage the sales cycle from qualification to close. You must be a great communicator with excellent presentation and customer service skills and the ability to persuasively present IntellaLend to C-Level executives of mid-market mortgage lenders. You will also work closely with members of the MTS Product and Marketing Teams to strategize on growth, prepare proposals, and share customer needs & successes. Position focuses on Direct Sales including prospect identification, pipeline building, and opportunity closure.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for generating leads and driving sales bookings for MTS through the direct sales of MTS products and services to financial institutions within designated territory or within accounts as assigned by management.
  • Bookings targets will be assigned in the form of a sales quota which the sales representative will be responsible for attaining.
  • Must have a consultative sales approach that can map mortgage lenders’ goals and challenges with MTS solutions and services.
  • Close net new business in mortgage originators and servicing organizations.
  • Drive incremental revenue inside accounts thru up-selling and cross-selling additional products and services.
  • Manage the selling process thru contract close, including lead generation, qualification and opportunity management.
  • Work with Management and Marketing to develop industry partners and potential channels.
  • Provide pipeline reports using Salesforce.
  • Present IntellaLend as one of the new leaders in industry.

Qualifications

  • Hunter vs. Farmer mentality – Self-starter, motivated.
  • Cold-calling prospects, qualification of prospects, remote and on-site demonstrations, value justification, creation of pricing proposals and contracts, negotiation with prospects and collaborate with marketing to develop new marketing material.
  • Proven and successful sales track record with references and experience in selling multi-million-dollar opportunities in the software industry. Preferably with mortgage lenders.
  • Strong contact list at tier 1 financial institutions, mortgage originators and servicers.
  • Working knowledge of CFPB, TRID, TILA-RESPA and other regulations surrounding the mortgage origination and servicing industry.
  • Ability to project a professional image and conduct themselves in such manner while representing MTS and IntellaLend business interests.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of documented sales success in the mortgage technology industry.
  • Experience driving a complex sales process, project and resource management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of mortgage technology software and services.
  • Knowledge of and relationships with customers in mortgage, real estate, title, escrow, and insurance industries.
  • Creative thinker, problem solver, self-motivated, competitive, positive attitude, team player, accountable, reliable, consistent, strong work ethic, focused, organized, process and results-driven.
  • Must possess excellent written, oral, presentation skills.

Additional Preferred Skills/Knowledge:

  • Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Professional certifications in Banking or Lending preferred.
  • Professional presence required to meet with C-Level client executives.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft productivity (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and communications (Outlook, Dynamics, SharePoint) applications.
  • Strong presentation skills using PowerPoint and web conferencing.
