Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced solutions sales professional who has successfully managed complex sales opportunities and relationships with C-suite executives, IT executives, and business users at all levels of an organization. This individual will actively prospect for new business, identify qualified opportunities, gather business requirements, develop ROI, present solution value proposition, and manage the sales cycle to close. Collaboration with channel partners, technical pre-sales staff, and other internal support staff should be expected.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Research, identify, prospect and qualify new potential customers
  • Lead and manage the consultative sales process
  • Conduct consultative needs analysis to identify current business challenges and identify key value proposition and cost benefits for the customer
  • Win and maintain trusted advisor status (SME) in order to guide & lead decision makers
  • Work with pre-sales personnel and channel partners to address relevant business requirements
  • Create strategic relationships with new customers for future upsell & expansion opportunities
  • Develop and maintain territory and business plans for achieving sales & revenue objectives
  • Provide feedback to management and cross functional teams on sales opportunities, competitive threats, process enhancements, and customer facing activities which can be improved
  • Conduct all sales and business activities with highest degree of integrity and professionalism

Competencies and Skills:

  • Self-starter who takes initiative and has a sense of urgency for all customer facing activities
  • 3+ years of solution selling experience
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding quota
  • Strong ability to prospect, build pipeline, and close
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply that knowledge
  • Ability to multi-task and meet required deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and in a team selling environment
  • Understand corporate buying processes, anticipate challenges, and how to eliminate obstacles
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Up to 50% travel
